Brilliant performer, his romantic compositions were inspired by his virtuosity. He is considered as the greatest teacher of the modern pedal harp. Geen gezochte dingen, geen pretentie. Muziek die iedereen moet kunnen genieten. Mogelijk was dat ook de bedoeling van de harpmeester? Zijn instrument muziek doen spelen die voor elk oor geschikt is, muziek waarmee je iedereen, al is het maar voor even, over de schreef kan halen en zeggen: \u201cLuister eens? Dat is nu harp. Mooi toch?\u201d En welja, mooi. Een eenvoudig woord dat in deze alles zegt.
